Our Safety Standards
Every product we make passes rigorous physical safety tests (including soaking, torque and tension evaluations) and chemical safety tests. We ensure our toys endure everyday use and remain free of harmful chemicals, making them safe even if chewed on.
All toys sold in the US, UK, and Europe must meet specific safety standards: ASTM F963 in the USA and EN71 in Europe. These regulations ensure a basic level of safety but still permit low levels of certain chemicals. We go beyond these minimum requirements by sourcing the safest, highest-quality materials, aiming to eliminate harmful chemicals entirely and provide the safest toys possible for your child.
- ASTM F963-23 (USA safety standards)
- EN71 (European safety standards)
- CPSIA (no lead and phthalates)
- 16 CFR 1501 (small parts check)
- REACH - EC 1907/2006 (heavy metals including lead, cadmium, mercury, AZO, nickel, phthalates)
- 16 CFR 1500.48/49 (no hazardous edges/points)
- 16 CFR 1303 (no lead in paint and varnish)
- Prop 65 (no lead and phthalates)
- Global Organic Textile Standard - GOTS (cotton is organic and ethically made)
- FSC-certified wood & paper (sustainable sourcing of forest products)
